Description Street circuit used for Roma GP in 1954 and 1955, after Circuito delle Terme di Caracalla and before Vallelunga circuits was built.
On March 9th 1985 the newspaper La Repubblica reported a proposal for a circuit to be used for Rome F.1 (already scheduled on October 13th 1985), as alternative of the "usual" proposal at EUR. On March 16th 1985 the race was finally canceled.

Location In Castelfusano pineta (pine wood), few km South East of Lido di Ostia (Roma, Lazio), where there was Circuito dell’Impero. The long straight is on final section of Via Cristoforo Colombo, a long street that start from Rome (more than 20 km far).

Via Cristoforo Colombo. This picture was taken more or less where there is red arrow on my map, looking in sea direction (same as original circuit). Unfortunately, it’s a low quality photo because it was taken from a bus.
