RODOS / ΡΌΔΟΣ |
Description |
Street circuit used from 1958 to 1971. It was a very fast, spectacular and difficult circuit. During the 1971 race a prominent driver of that time, G. Meimarides, who raced under the pseudonym "Mavros", had a fatal accident when his Alfa Romeo GTAm crushed into the walls at high speed. Because of that the street circuits were banned in Greece. |
