Edmonton City Centre Airport
Description Blue on the map: circuit proposed on November 2004; it should have been hosted a Champ Car race on July 2005. This race was really raced, but on a completely different circuit (the red one on the map). Previously (up to 1999) CASCAR (Canadian Stock Cars) raced on a quite similar circuit, even if start/finish line and pits were different.

Jagflo Speedway
Description Circuit used the first time on July 17th 2005 for a Champ Car race; it is located on Edmonton Finning City Centre Airport runways (used only for charter airplanes). Track layout is completely different from the first project proposed at the end of 2004. The circuit has been realized according ot FIA standard and max speed of Champ Car cars is approx. 320 km/h - 200 mph. It seems me to recall that in 2005 signallers for drivers were on the straight before the final chicane. Some minor changes should be made before Champ Car race scheduled on July 23rd 2006: a tribune should be built on the former pit lane and new pit lane should be closer to the track (at first it had a layout different from 2005 and from the one used in 2006). Few days before GP pit lane has been changed again: a new one has been created in the gree area between start/finish straight and the old 2005 pit lane and linked to the circuit with a chicane.

An unknown source reported the circuit is 3154 m - 1.960 mi long, but it’s wrong.
