Serbia was part of Yugoslavia since its creation after First World War. On February 4th 2003 Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was officially renamed «Serbia and Montenegro». After a referendum, Montenegro seceded after a vote and on June 5th 2006 Republic of Serbia was born
